Site displays, Field services and Improvements

at Ag-Grow Emerald

Setting-up Display
Exhibitors are encouraged to complete setting up their display as early as possible to avoid congestion on the day prior to opening. A caretaker is on site and exhibitors may gain access to their site after 1st July.

Exhibitors are reminded to confirm their site with Admin prior to setting up and are requested to strictly adhere to the boundaries of their display area. All displays must be completely set up by 8:00am Thursday 9th July 2009.

Field Demonstrations / Seminar
Both these activities are very welcome. Should you wish to access an area for these purposes please contact Admin so arrangements can be made and your activity can be included in the Official Timetable. If you wish to carry out product demonstrations on your site please be considerate of your adjoining exhibitors.

Permanent Structures
Permanent structures are encouraged, however, there are Council requirements which must be adhered to. The organizers have blanket agreements in place but you must advise beforehand so as to comply with regulations.

Exhibitors Display
Exhibitors are encouraged to present their product in a safe and tidy manner through out the duration of the field days.

Excavations
Underground services can be seriously damaged if excavating in the wrong area. Please check with the organizers prior to digging to avoid a costly mistake. Main underground power is 415 volts and any contact may result in death by electrocution or require expensive repairs by the exhibitor.

Power and Water
Power and water is accessible to all sites within a 30m radius.
Every box has plenty of 240volt single phase outlets and three phase power is available on request for heavy industry demonstrations. Please remember to bring your own power leads, power boards, hoses, buckets, rakes etc

Cranes, forklifts etc
Cranes, forklifts, a post hole digger and tractor are available free of charge for setting up and dismantling display purposes. These are available on an as needs basis and we ask that you please be patient and we will get to you as quickly as possible. Please note the crane is only available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday.

Outside these days you are encouraged to make your own arrangement with Walter Wright Cranes Australia on 07 4987 4908. There is a heavy duty loading ramp adjacent to the wash bay area with high pressure cleaners to help keep equipment presentable.

Site Improvements
Hay bales, sawdust and bark chips are available to enhance your display. Booking is essential and orders will be delivered on Wednesday. Improvements will not be delivered until you notify admin of your arrival and your site improvements will deliver as promptly as possible. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to utilize their site improvements to their own specifications.

Livestock and Panels
Livestock exhibitors have access to loading ramps (fixed or portable) and wash bay facilities. Panels are available for each site and must be ordered prior to the event. Panels are also available for sale. Contact Admin for details. Panels will be delivered to each site as ordered prior to the event and exhibitors are requested to dismantle and pile their panels on departure.

NLIS & Tick Spraying for Cattle Exhibitors at Ag-Grow
To assist you we have made arrangments for all exhibited cattle over the age of 2 years to be read and registered. This will take place on the Thursday morning and we will come to you. It would be helpful if you could have your PIC number available for this reading should it be needed.

Ag-Grow managment will also negotiate with the DPI for those exhibtors who must cross a tick line to have their cattle sprayed at the Ag-Grow grounds. If this applies exhibtors are requested to contact Ag-Grow to provide approximate numbers.
