Premier Brisbane-based accounting firm, Bentleys, celebrates 60 years of service in Queensland this year, and firm Directors and teams will be visiting regional centres over coming months as a part of their annual regional visit program.
Bentleys was established in Rockhampton and Brisbane in 1948, and have a proud history of delivering accounting, taxation and business advisory solutions to clients in rural and regional areas.
Bentleys’ regional clients operate across a broad range of industries – including farming areas such as cotton, grain, cattle, wool, and horticulture, as well other sectors like manufacturing, construction, and retail.
“Our regional and rural clients are the cornerstone of our firm, and we really enjoy the opportunity to visit our clients and their businesses, and get involved with the local communities” said Director of Bentleys’ Agribusiness Unit, Brendon Murray.
“Going out to the regions helps us to keep our finger on the pulse, and gain a better understanding of the local issues our clients are facing”.
To cement it’s rural commitment, Bentleys actively supports community events and this year have sponsored a range of activities including the Aggrow Field Days in Emerald; local show societies in Longreach, Landsborough, and Isisford; the upcoming amateur race day in Rockhampton; and the new “Agribusiness of the Year” category in the Emerald Business Achievers Awards.
“Local events are really important because they help to keep rural communities connected. They create a lively atmosphere, and they’re a great way to catch up with people”, commented Brendon.
Bentleys is an association of independent accounting firms in Australia. The Brisbane firm has 11 Directors and over 80 staff, and the team has been working with clients across regional and rural Queensland since 1948.
