Komatsu strives for local customer service excellence
MINING, agricultural, and construction giant Komatsu Australia has opened its latest branch in Emerald.
Komatsu Australia has been operating for more than forty years and is involved in the business of supplying and servicing machinery and heavy equipment used in the fields of civil contracting, mining, quarrying, material handling, waste management, demolition and recycling, forestry, farming and agriculture.
The opening of its latest branch situated in Emerald's industrial area on Macaulay Access Road, is part of the company's on-going commitment to focus on customer service.
According to the branch manager Colleen Cornelius, the branch will better service both its mining and agricultural clients situated in the Central Highlands, western, and north-west Queensland .
In the past, our valued customers in this region have been disadvantaged because of long delays due to logistics, Ms Cornelius said.
I am looking forward to meeting all our clients both new and existing, and discussing how Komatsu can service them better in the future.
The Emerald-based Komatsu team will be at the forthcoming Ag-Grow QMIX field days on site Q1-14.
